A simple guide to looking after your FOLD reformer

To keep your reformer in tip-top condition, regular maintenance is key. A little care goes a long way for a smooth experience that lasts years for your clients and instructors.

  • Check fixtures and fittings

Check for loose screws and fittings monthly and give them a tighten if needed. It’s quite normal for them to come loose but if you notice a screw that’s more loose than normal, thread lock solution will keep it in place. Find some here.

  • Polish the wood

Once a month, use a beeswax polish to maintain the natural finish of the wood. Apply a small amount on a polishing cloth and work into the wood for protection and a little freshen up. We recommend this.

  • Clean the upholstery

Spray a natural diluted soap (like this) onto a cloth and wipe your beds daily. It’s not only hygienic but will keep your studio looking tidy. Bleaches, oils and alcohol-based cleaners can damage your upholstery and void your warranty.

  • Hand changing spring of beige FOLD Reformer bed

    Oil your springs

Apply a small amount of WD-40 to a cloth and wipe along the length of each spring every week. This stops wear and keeps your springs moving smoothly and quietly.
