This policy explains how Fold Reformer Ltd ("FÔLD", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on foldreformer.com, our Ireland store and our Commercial website. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
1. At a glance

2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your choices and tell us how the site is used. Some are deleted when you close your browser (session cookies); others stay until they expire or you delete them (persistent cookies).
We also use similar technologies, which this policy treats in the same way as cookies:
- Pixels and tags: small pieces of code from advertising and analytics partners that record when a page is viewed or an action is taken, such as adding a FÔLD Reformer to your basket.
- Local storage: information saved in your browser, for example to keep our online chat open as you move between pages.
- Email tracking: our emails contain a small image that tells us whether an email was opened and which links were clicked, so we can send fewer, more relevant emails. You can block this by turning off images in your email app.
3. How we ask for consent
When you first visit our website, our cookie banner (Shopify's built-in cookie banner) lets you accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or choose by category. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are used, and no advertising pixels are loaded. We remember your choice for 12 months, then ask again.
Rejecting cookies will not stop you shopping with us. You may simply see adverts that are less relevant to you.

Some advertising partners, such as Meta, Google and TikTok, also act as separate controllers for the information their cookies collect. Their own privacy policies explain how they use it.
5. How to manage cookies
- On our website: use the Cookie settings link in the footer to change or withdraw your consent at any time.
- In your browser: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the basket and checkout from working.
- Google Analytics: you can opt out across all websites with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Advertising: you can manage your advert preferences in your Meta, Google and TikTok account settings.
6. Changes to this policy
We review this policy whenever we add or remove a tool that uses cookies, and at least once a year. If we add new non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
