Fold FAQs

  • Most standard Merrithew accessories aren't designed to fit the FÔLD frame, as the systems are built differently. Your FÔLD comes with everything you need to get started, and our UK team is happy to talk through anything specific you currently use, just get in touch before you trade in.

  • Your reformer should be complete and in safe, working order, normal signs of use are completely fine. If something's damaged or missing, send us a photo and we'll let you know whether it still qualifies before you commit.

  • It's three simple steps: tell us about your current reformer, we confirm your % Off allowance, and we arrange collection of your old one as your FÔLD is delivered. You'll know exactly what you're getting before anything is collected.

  • Not at all, collection is completely free, and included as part of your trade-in. When your new FÔLD is delivered, we'll take your old reformer away at the same time. No separate booking, no courier fees, nothing to arrange on your end. One visit, sorted.

  • Just get it as ready as you reasonably can, a quick wipe-down and clearing a little space around it is plenty. If you still have the original box, it's helpful to pack it back into that, but we completely understand if it's long gone (most people's are). Don't worry about doing it perfectly; our team handles these every day and will manage the rest on collection

  • It gets a second life. Wherever possible, we refurbish your old reformer and find it a new home, making Pilates a little more accessible for the next person starting out. And where a reformer is past its best for resale, we donate it to a local community space instead. Either way, nothing simply goes to waste, your trade-in helps someone else begin their own practice.

  • We deliver and collect right across mainland UK. Wherever you are on the mainland, we'll bring your new FÔLD to you and take your old reformer away in the same visit, so there's nothing extra to arrange. If you're outside mainland UK and not sure whether we can reach you, just get in touch before you trade in and we'll let you know.

  • A little, yes, and that's completely normal. Every reformer has its own character, and moving to a FÔLD is no different. The good news is you won't be finding your feet alone. Our expert instructors guide you through every step on the FÔLD app, so the transition feels supported rather than strange.
