I had been going to a reformer studio for a while and absolutely loved it, but in person classes are very expensive and travelling to the studio is not always convenient.
The quality of the Fold reformer is fantastic. Despite its ability to fold in half, the carriage moves incredibly smoothly across the tracks and is extremely well built. The fact that it folds is really helpful as it can be stored away in a relatively small space, although I have used it so often since it arrived that I can't see myself putting it away any time soon!
I love that I can jump on when I have a spare half an hour instead of having to plan to go to a class. I appreciate that it's not an inexpensive purchase but for the convenience of being able to do Reformer whenever I want I think it's worth every penny. Customer service was also brilliant and they were able to deliver it to me earlier than expected. All communication from the team at Fold has been great. It is definitely an investment but one I'm really happy I made!

I’ve been doing Pilates with Reformee for 16 years, and I’ve always dreamed of having my own reformer machine. Space was an issue—until I discovered The Fold. It’s incredibly easy to fold away and doesn’t take up much room, yet it has a high-quality, sturdy structure. I also love the app, which offers a variety of workouts I can do anytime I want, all from the comfort of my home. Best investment ever!
Delivery men were lovely and really helpful. However stated they couldn’t take it upstairs - thankfully my place was on one level but don’t recall seeing this stated when buying. Especially if women living alone in apartments/flats order this - I feel it needs to be stated more clearly. If it is, apologies if I missed it.
Also the crate is incredibly hard to get into by myself and have to wait until I have family members round to help. Again, not great if living alone without tools it also stated on the email that some delivery drivers would help, but my delivery drivers weren’t able.
I’m really excited to use it but can’t yet get into it!

Our FOLD Reformers are transported in a solid wooden crate to ensure they’re fully protected and arrive in perfect condition, ready for years of movement ahead. That said, we absolutely hear your feedback about accessibility.
We’ve taken this on board and with immediate effect, our deliveries will include updated cardboard packaging — still designed to protect your Reformer, but much easier to unbox. Plus, we've upgraded our delivery experience with a two-person service that ensures your FOLD Reformer is delivered to the room of your choice.
