The FÔLD Academy Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork is powered by Create and taught in a hybrid style, so you can learn while you earn.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

Course length

The Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork has 2 in-person teaching weekends with a practical assessment. The rest is delivered online and is self-paced. The course can take around 10 weeks to complete.

By the end of your course…

You’ll have the confidence to structure a mixed ability class from warm up and main sequence to cool down. You’ll have a good understanding of anatomy and be able to create a safe and dynamic class that meets your students’ needs.

Qualification & Accreditation

Our online mat Pilates course is accredited by YMCA and regulated by Ofqual. At the end of the course, you’ll be qualified to teach your own classes, in a UK-based or European studio. You’ll also be able to deepen your personal practice. 

Location

Nearly all of your learning will be virtual through self-paced study and video lessons. You’ll also have a few in-person teaching days and practical assessments, held at one of our FÔLD Partner Studios or accessible training venues in major UK cities.

The FÔLD Academy Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork is for anyone interested in teaching mat Pilates or those who want to know more about how it supports the body. It can help to have a basic understanding of anatomy and teaching experience.

  • An online mat Pilates course gives you flexibility to learn while you earn and take your next career move at your own pace.

  • The Level 3 Diploma in Instructing Pilates Matwork, run by create, is a hybrid course which combines in-person teaching with online and self-paced learning. 

  • Online Pilates courses give you control over your learning. You can go at your own pace and go back over things as many times as you want to cement your understanding. 

  • You’ll be given the dates of your practical assessment when you sign up for your course. Before then, you’ll have 2 in-person teaching days to help you prepare.
